Introducing Plasto & Company

Plasto & Company is a leading livestock and property agency based in Wellington, New South Wales that operates throughout the Central West. Director Ross Plasto leads a team of seven staff across our livestock and real estate business. Established by Geoff Plasto in 1987, Plasto & Company continues to be an integral part of the rural fabric of Wellington and the west.

Ross Plasto

Livestock Sales

Ross Plasto is a Director of Plasto & Company and oversees the livestock business as well as managing the day-to-day operations of the office.

A fully qualified auctioneer, Ross’s expertise with clients and astute sense of valuation, has seen him grow Plasto & Company’s livestock business from humble beginnings to what it is today.

With over 35 years experience in livestock and agency, Ross’s knowledge of the industry was recognised when he became President of the Dubbo Stock & Station Agents Association.

Prior to joining Plasto & Company in 1991, Ross first developed his skills as an agent at Gunnedah, then Crookwell and has a background in the meat industry.

Founder of Plasto & Company, Geoff has been in the business of livestock and property for over 45 years.

Initially a farmer and grazier, Geoff understands both sides of the fence and his expertise in giving market opinions and selling rural properties, is without question.

Clients still ask Geoff to attend stock and stud sales on their behalf and regularly ask for his advice on the purchase of sheep and cattle.

These days, Geoff’s focus is on the marketing and sale of rural properties. He has won numerous awards including Top Rural Sales of the Year over several yeas and has been the number 1 and 2 Salesperson in Australia for Raine & Horne Rural over a many of years.

As our Real Estate Manager, Gary Francis is the consummate professional and is there for every stage of your sale.

Seeing the potential of Wellington and rural life, Gary left the city behind in 2001 and has been with us ever since. Over that time, Gary has become an integral part of the community and continues to build strong relationships with existing clients and new buyers and sellers.

His record in selling and achieving the best price is outstanding. Through our Raine & Horne franchise, Gary regularly picks up awards – not least for his humour!
